For owners
The 393 came out of two yards, Beneteau's in France and its plant in Marion, South Carolina, in two interior layouts, so the first question is always which boat you have. The community is where owners compare notes across all of them: fixes, parts and part numbers, who to use for sails and engines, and what to look for when buying.
Membership is for owners and is approved by the admins. The group is private.
Request to join the owners' groupHull register
A members-only register of 393 hulls: build yard, year, layout and where she sails. It is held privately for members and is never published. It exists so owners can find boats like theirs, and so the community can tell suppliers, as a total only, how many of us there are.
To add your boat, use the register form. It asks for your HIN (Hull Identification Number), build year, layout and home port. For anything else about the register, email membership@boc393.org.
For suppliers
We talk to chandlers, sail lofts and engine-parts suppliers about rates for our members. Anything agreed is a member benefit; the community takes no commission and sells nothing.
Who we are, in figures: 1,500+ members in 100 countries, around 140 active on a typical day; largest groups in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, Spain and Australia. The conversation is almost entirely maintenance and upgrades: engines and props, seacocks, electrics, rigging, sails and antifoul. Figures from the group's own insights, updated November 2026.
Agreed member benefits are listed for members inside the owners' group, together with how to claim them.
If you have had an enquiry from us, or would like to offer our owners a rate, write to membership@boc393.org.
